"Pleased as punch with my Gabrielle wedding dress! I was never one of those girls who had their perfect wedding dress in mind but I knew what I didn't want - and they were everywhere! When my sister found the Sabina Motasem site I suddenly felt hopeful. I tried two of her beautiful dresses on that had lured me there although neither quite suited me but then out came the Gabrielle dress and it was love at first sight!
Like the Motasem tag line, all the dresses are both classic and contemporary. I wanted the earth I thought, something completely different: pretty and vintage but not lacey-frilly; elegant and classic but something stylishly simple, befitting a rustic French wedding - and I found it! Sabina altered the dress so that it fit me like a glove, had numerous other ideas to make it uniquely mine and I really felt like it was designed solely for me. Finally, the addition of the 'Indian kissses' back necklace chain was the icing on the (wedding) cake as my husband is half Indian. On the big day I received so many compliments about the dress and I could not stop swirling the skirts like a flamenco dancer!"
