Our Dresses

Proudly made in London in ateliers we've been working with for over 10 years  from the finest natural undyed silks, crafted into sleekest silhouettes. We have all the silk we need, as we've strategically bulk-bought everything to reduce our carbon footprint and eliminate delays. This means we're also able to do shorter timecales if needed too. We have exceptional customer service too with so many glowing reviews from lots of happy brides.

The new 2024 collection is coming early next year and is going to be a celebration of what we do best, simple elegance and classic yet modern shapes. Only two styles are being carried forward, Elsa Gold and Josephine. Notable styles include Gold Dust (the racer-back cut-out dress - pictured below), Lily of the Valley (the deep V backless cap sleeve dress), Blazing Star (the halter-neck dress), Queen of the Meadow (the one shoulder dress) and Endless Summer (the tee-shirt dress) and Shooting Star (the cowl neck slip-style dress) just to name a few styles along with two lovely new Spanish laces.

Email us if you'd like to be one of the first brides, bridal boutiques or press to preview this exciting new colelction. We can't wait to launch it. We've taken the extra love and care to ensure each dress has been crafted meticulously.

Our Sustainability

We regularly upcycle the offcuts that are produced from each dress into beautiful workwear tops for Smartworks, baby rompers and booties clothes for AFRIL in South London and newly added charity Cornerstone Baby Food Bank in East London. Old samples from previous collections that are left over from sample sales are donated to ethical bridal boutique Brides Do Good.

That's not all, we source the finest fabrics, replaced our care labels with organic cotton ones, created our own dress covers from organic deadstock fabrics, removed plastic zips and we've got options for a luxury plant silk that's certified by the GRS (Global Recycle Standard), European Vegetarian Union, And OEKO-Tex 100 Standard.

The Founder

Sabina Motasem have been dressing timelessly chic brides since the brand's conception in 2007, and is loved for their simple, modern elegance. The brand was founded by Sabina Motasem, a multi-disciplined designer from the fashion, graphic design and marketing worlds.

Sabina launched a ready-to-wear range of designer cocktail dresses during off-schedule London Fashion Week. After designing a wedding dress as an extra-special gift for a friend who couldn’t find a simple, elegant dress amongst all the froufrou styles, and five 'special gifts' later, the idea for bridal range was born. The brand was selected to showcase at the Zandra Rhodes textile museum and won a sought after place on the New Scholarship programme with essential funding that helped create the first collection. The brand later particiated in the Innovation for Growth programme through the Business and IP Centre at the British Library which led to being mentored by the late Anita Roddick, founder of Body Shop, at the British Library

One of the main objectives right from the start, was to create a sustainable wedding dress range, which could be worn again and again after the big day. But doing things right and doing things better was always intrinsically THE core fundamental values of Sabina Motasem and still is.

Sabina Motasem was one of a handful of brands who pivoted the business in March 2020 during the first lockdown and covid wave to produce just under 1,400 NHS scrubs for over 20 medical centres, care homes and hospitals. The founder, Sabina regularly volunteers at a local baby food bank and has run free creative workshops for the community at Stone Minimarket.

Word quickly spread, and what started as a side hustle soon became a highly sought-after brand that has been dressing chic brides all over the world.
