In celebration of International Women's Day, we're paying homage to the STRONG and AMAZING WOMEN behind our dresses from design to real life brides. Each day we'll bring you our design Muse with a real life bride to bring them to life, in the quirky surroundings and the garden greenhouse rooftop of The Culpeper bar, the perfect place for an intimate wedding reception.
First up, is real bride Olive as Isadora Duncan, in a video of behind the scenes film at the shoot, with the final look.
Olive, a science documentary maker by day, who's travelled to far reach places, wore her own wedding dress, the Isadora, and a tulle Grecian draped capelet with art nouveau inspired beading along the waistband and shoulders, in the sunny landscapes of Italy.
The Isadora dress is inspired and named after the prolific and inspirational dancer, Isadora Duncan who put the Modern into Modern Dance. A dancer, adventurer, and ardent defender of the free spirit, Isadora Duncan is one of the most enduring influences on contemporary culture.
With free-flowing costumes, bare feet, and loose hair, inspired by the ancient Greeks, the music of classical composers, the wind and the sea, she did away with the restrictive corsets of the Victorian era and broke away from traditional ballet.
