Inspirational women - Real bride Kat as Mia Farrow

In celebration of International Women's Day, we're paying homage to the STRONG and AMAZING WOMEN behind our dresses from design to real life brides. Each day we'll bring you our design muse with a real life bride to bring them to life, in the quirky surroundings and the garden greenhouse rooftop of The Culpeper, the perfect place for an intimate wedding reception.

Today, is real bride Kat as Mia Farrow, in a video of behind the scenes film at the shoot, with the final look.

Kat, wore her own wedding dress, the Mary lace dress worn over a new dress from the upcoming collection, Mia, styled with some ultra glam Stephanie Browne jewels and art deco Emmy London shoes.

Kat works to support organisations transform their learning programs, particularly working within the sports sector. An adventurer deep down, like Mia Farrow herself, she's always on the look out for a new experience, namely through travelling the world.

The Mia dress is inspired by none other than the iconic Mia Farrow, an American actress, activist and former fashion model, appearing in more than 50 films and won numerous awards. Farrow is known for her extensive work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She is involved in humanitarian activities in Darfur, Chad, and the Central African Republic. In 2008, Time magazine named her one of the most influential people in the world.

Farrow will forever be credited with bringing the pixie hairstyle back into fashion, emulating ‘60s fashion in shift dresses and graphic prints.
