In celebration of International Women's Day, we're paying homage to the STRONG and AMAZING WOMEN behind our dresses from design to real life brides. Each day we'll bring you our design Muse with a real life bride to bring them to life, in the quirky surroundings and the garden greenhouse rooftop of The Culpeper bar, the perfect place for an intimate wedding reception.
Today is real bride Erika as Tilda Swinton, in a video of behind the scenes film at the shoot, with the final look.
A force of nature, Erika, is a creative at heart. Through her specialism in furniture design, like Tilda Swinton, Erika appreciates the architectural beauty of clothes - a girl after our own heart. Furthermore, the way to her heart is through her stomach - again, she's a Sabina Motasem girl through and through.
Tilda Swinton is so often described as a chameleon, her ability to swing between androgynous, glamorous and utterly otherworldly is magnetic. She is beautiful and weird, and not like any verified descriptive word. This makes her somewhat of a wild card in most of her roles – unexpected, but eventually irreplaceable.
Erika wears the Tilda dress, which has applique corded flowers, soft embroidered chiffon flowers on a soft tulle lace dress over a gold or platinum satin dress. So whimsical, yet very cool and modern too, and original, a little like Tilda herself.
