Aimee Lou Wood, star of Netflix's Sex Education as Aimee Gibbs wears our Misty dress

Thrilled to see Aimee Lou Wood of Netflix's Sex Education as Aimee Gibbs, styled in our new Misty dress in fashion mag, Vingt Sept.

Aimee is completely on point in Netflix’s series Sex Education, where she plays another Aimee – a popular girl with the big party house, who would rather crack a joke than show her vulnerablity. The series has been dominating headlines and social media all over the world with themes of humour, inclusivity and realistically portraying young people’s sex lives and relationships in all their messy and awkward glory. The show stars Asa Butterfield as a socially awkward teenager and Gillian Anderson as his character's mother and a sex therapist.

Our dresses can be styled in so many different ways, the thing is to show off your own independent style and be selective in your choice of accessories, how to style your hair and what make up looks to go for. Here, Aimee's look in our Misty dress is a modern take on a 60's retro theme with vintage Chanel glasses from Vintz Eyewear and shoes from GCDS. The collar has been created by using the detachable off-the-shoulder band and flipping it up to create a cool wide stand up collar on a lightly boned strapless dress.

The Misty dress is from our latest Nouveau collection, and was originally designed to be a dress with two looks. It can be easily transformed from an off-the-shoulder style during the day, and by removing the off-the-shoulder band, it becomes a strapless sleek and chic look for the evening.
